Katherine Louise Choate DeVille, age 94, passed away on February 12, 2016, at her home of natural causes. Louise was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 8, 1921, to Jack Choate and Lillie B. Martin Choate. She was a member of Ashland City United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. Louise worked as a beautician, a school teacher, and for the Ashland City Water Department. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lillie B. Choate; granddaughter, Barbara Louise DeVille; and sister, Lois (Robert) Hale. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jimmy DeVille; sons, Billy Don (Myrna) Morris and Jackie (Holly) DeVille; four grandchildren, Michelle (Darrin) Denney, Robyn (Neil) Medley, Kathy (Brian) Rose and Jack DeVille, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Tristen and Sydney Denney and Sophia and Georgia Medley. Funeral service will be conducted by Brother Sammy Smith, Darrin Denney and Dr. Tom Binford at Cheatham County Funeral Home on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 2pm. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 13, 2016, from 10am until service hour of 2pm. Serving as pallbearers are Jack DeVille, Jr., Tristen Denney, Darrin Denney, Neil Medley, Ken Whitaker and Brian Rose.
