June A. Dobbs, age 75, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on March 17, 2022, at Gallatin Center for Rehab and Healing. June was born in Madison, Tennessee on December 14, 1946, to Vivian (Carter) Tuders and the late James Dorris. She was a retired captain for Opryland Hotel and also worked on Printer's Ally for Boots Randolph for many years before retiring. She is preceded in death by her father, James Dorris; husband, David Dobbs; and brothers, James "Polecat" Dorris, Jr. and Michael Wayne Dorris. She is survived by her mother, Vivian Tuders; daughter, Angela Hudgens (Eugene Lawson); brother, Joe Henry Dorris; grandchildren, Curtis, Daniel, Brandy and Tabitha; and several great-grandchildren. June's wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned. Her remains will be buried in Bethlehem Cemetery alongside her other family members.
