JUANITA A. EVANS, age 80, passed away at Ahava Healthcare in Clarksville, TN, on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Juanita was born on January 25, 1937, to the late Howard E. Estes, Sr., and Pearl Lee Baucham Estes in Nashville, Tennessee. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Evans, siblings, Howard Estes, Jr., Donald Estes, Bobby Estes, Jr. and Loretta Garrett. She is survived by her daughter, Kelley (Jason) Traughber; stepchildren, Polly Evans, Beverly (Allen) Peralta, and Joseph H. Evans; sister, Dorothy Maffei; and grandchildren, David and Cody Traughber; Carrie (Cliff) Adams, Elizabeth (Matt) Adkins, and Aleena Evans; and great-grandchildren, Dallen Adkins, Brandon and Trevor Adams. Juanita will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked for over 50 years for the Little Jimmy Dickens' Family. She loved to read, watch Young and the Restless, work puzzles, go out to eat and play solitaire. She loved the Friday night dancing with the seniors. Funeral service will be Monday, June 12, 2017, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Jason Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Visitation with the family will be Monday before the service from 10am until service hour of 12noon.
