ALLEN, Joy Anne, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at St. Thomas MidTown in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born July 15, 1928, in London, England, to the late Stanley Hurkett and Anne Beswick. She worked as a homemaker, wife and mother. Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Henry Allen; and brother, Owen Hurkett. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Nina (Ben) Owens and Wendy Allen; sister, Gladys Goodwin and one grandchild. No services are planned.
