Joseph "Joe" Austin Edgin, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He was born to Jessie Edgin and Maggie Jones Edgin in Dickson, TN, on December 10, 1927. Joe retired from the Ford Glass Plant in Nashville, TN, working as a set-up man. He liked to fish. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Flora Katherine Edgin; and his son, Michael Edgin. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Ray) Potts; one brother, Billy Edgin; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 12noon at EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The processional will leave the funeral home at 11:30am on Friday. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 1pm to 7pm and on Friday from 9am to 11am.
