Jonathan Gabriel Salas, age 22, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Jonathan was born on August 1, 1997, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Roy and Rhonda Farmer Salas. He was a graduate of Cheatham County Central High School Class of 2015, where he played football, basketball and soccer. Jonathan loved sports, especially football. After High School, Jonathan attended TCAT where he completed an HVAC certification program in 2016.
Jonathan worked in HVAC for Maynard Select for about 3 years, and most recently, video and audio installation for C&C Audio Visual.
Jonathan had an infectious smile and never met a stranger. Jonathan lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence R. Farmer, Wilma Jean Amerud and Elida Salas. He is survived by his parents, Roy and Rhonda Farmer Salas; sisters, Krista (Steve) McCullers and Royah (Jovanna) Gomez; as well as many extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be Friday, September 13, 2019, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Binford officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 12th from 4pm to 7pm and on Friday, September 13th, from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
