WITTENMEIER, John Howard, age 67, passed away at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN, on December 27, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Russell Wittenmeier and Lorene Ezell Wittenmeier. He is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Reba Mickle Wittenmeier; and daughter, Jennifer (Bradley) Brown. Mr. Wittenmeier was a sheet metal worker and enjoyed his hobbies of racing go-carts and flying airplanes. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 11am in the Scottsboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Joy Edwards and Dr. Kay Gray officiating. The interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be E.B. (Butch) Parker, Tony McDonald, Micky Mills, Marty Rogers, David Hicks, Danny Tice. Serving as honorary pallbearers are the Board of Trustees of the Scottsboro United Methodist Church, the Members of the Scottsboro United Methodist Church and the Members of Sheet Metal Local #177. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 3pm to 6pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10am until service hour of 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Wittenmeier's memory may be made to the Scottsboro United Methodist Church, 5034 Old Hydes Ferry Pike, Nashville, TN 37218
