WAYMAN, Joe, age 84, passed away at his home on February 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Calma Dell Dozier Wayman; his wife, Barbara Ann Powers Wayman; and his brothers and sister, Doug, Glenn and Anita Wayman. He is survived by his son, Troy Wayman; niece, Deborah Wayman Hale and his best friend, Don Frakes. Joe was born in Ashland City, TN, and worked for Werthan Bag as a printer for 47 years, 44 of those years achieving perfect attendance awards. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Jerry Barlar officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Knapp, Don Frakes, Barry McClelland, Sr., Barry McClelland, Jr., Tim Wayman, Sr., and Tim Wayman, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Habib Doss, William Lee Osment, Tommy Hale, and Jeremy Hale. Visitation with the family will be Friday, Feb 28th from 3pm to 7pm and on Saturday before the service from 9am until 11am, service hour.
