KNOX, Jerry Wayne, age 53, passed away at his home on April 18, 2016. He was born September 11, 1962, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Larry Carlton Knox and Donna Jean Fulmer Knox. He was a graduate of Cheatham County High School, Class of 1980, and achieved an Associates Degree from Nashville State Community College. He worked in Finance and Administration for the State of Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Carlton Knox. He is survived by his mother, Donna Jean Fulmer Knox; sister, Linda Gail (Eddie) Potts; and nephews, Brad (Hannah) Potts and Mitchell Potts. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 21, 2016, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, from 4pm to 8pm and on Thursday, April 21st from 9am until service hour of 11am. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
