Jennifer Lee Thompson, age 42, of Ashland City passed at her home on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 24, 1983, to parents Darryl Thompson and Teresa (Jones) Thompson. Jennifer was a big and loving influence not only at her job of 8 years at MTMHI, but also in her community. To know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her father, Darryl Thompson; mother, Teresa Thompson; siblings, Dana Thompson and Matthew Connolly; and grandmother, Joyce Malone.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alexander Cruz; children, Aaliyah Cruz, Levi Thompson, Noah Cruz, Payton Cruz, and Christopher Burgess; granddaughter, Mila Thompson; siblings, Tiffany Thompson and Chris Thompson; stepdad, Mark Patrick; and her uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm and Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 10am until the hour of service at 12noon.
