Jennifer “Jenny” Louise Mills, age 47, departed this life on April 9, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was born in Dickson, Tennessee, on July 21, 1978, to Jack Huston Pernell and Barbara (Williams) Pernell. She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Huston Pernell.

She worked as a secretary for Greater Things Christian Academy for many years. Before that she worked for Dickson County Highway Department and was a bank teller for a portion of her life. She was a graduate of Harpeth High School.

She leaves behind her husband, Steven Mills, Jr.; sons, Stevie Mills and Jack Mills; brother, Jason Pernell (Angie); and sister, Amanda Williams.
