BREWER, Jeanne Kay, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 13, 2017, in Ashland City, TN. Jeanne Kay and her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Brewer, were former residents of Florence, Alabama, before making their home in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Jeanne Kay was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 25, 1953, to Robert Earl Grigsby and Bobbie Sue Wallace Grigsby. She attended First Baptist Church of Ashland City. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Preceding her in death is her father, Robert Earl Grigsby, and her sister, Donna Stooksberry. She is survived by her loving family: Husband, Kenneth L. Brewer; two daughters, Molly Lemmonds (Kyle) and Kensey Brewer; brother, Roger Grigsby; sister, Lisa Adcock (Joe); and two grandchildren, Madison and Kamden Lemmonds. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Ernie Emmons officiating. Burial will follow in Neptune Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 15th from 3pm to 7pm and on Thursday, March 16th from 10am until service hour of 1pm.
