Obituary

WILLIAMS, Jean F., age 78, passed away on February 5, 2013. She was a member of the Class of 1953 at Isaac Litton, a majorette for the Isaac Litton Marching 100, Miss Davidson County of 1953, and former Music Row Executive Secretary and business owner. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gladys Floyd Frye; daughter, Susan Ward Pruett; brothers, Bob and Jim Frye; and sisters, Mary Ann and Martha Tate. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, G.B. Williams; sons, Mike (Karen) Ward; Rev. Andrew (Leigh Ann) Ward, Jack L. (Patricia) Ward, III; brothers, Ira (Brenda) Frye and Johnny Frye; sister, Virginia (Larry) Lucas; son-in-law, John Pruett; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Ward and Bro. Miles Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Field Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 7th, from 3pm to 7pm and on Friday from 9am until funeral hour of 11am. Serving as pallbearers: Zackary Ward Gann, William Brandon Ward, Christopher Barber, Austin Walter Frye, Michael Ray Ward, Steven Tyler Ward. Honorary pallbearers are Rocky Brewington, Thomas Mason Ward, Jerry Gann, John Pruett, Jeremy Frye, Matthew Frye, John Frye, Jr., Jay Frye, Justin Frye, and Jonathon Frye.
