JEAN FRANCES LUKEMIRE, age 78, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at McKendree Village in Hermitage, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, to William Harris and Obe Long Harris on April 4, 1938. She was a graduate of Draughon's Jr. College and worked as a secretary for Sanders Manufacturing in Nashville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Obe Harris; loving husband, Jim Lukemire; and brothers, James Edward, Jimmy Don and Howard Harris. She is survived by her son, William "Luke" (Shawn Gray) Lukemire; brother, Johnny (Ruby) Harris; and sisters, Marilyn (Billy) Green, Carolyn (Charlie) Knight, and Betty Pentecost. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Billy Green officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship FreeWill Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, alongside her husband.
