JANICE GROVES BALDWIN, age 71, passed away at her home on Monday, August 8, 2016. Janice was born on April 13, 1945, in Ashland City, Tennessee, to A.J.(Jake) Groves and Annie Devers Groves. She received her Diploma of Nursing from Baptist Hospital. She met and married her late husband, James Marvin Baldwin, MD, while working at Baptist Hospital. Janice worked alongside her husband for 46 years, serving the Ashland City Community. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 46 years, Dr. James Marvin Baldwin. She is survived by her son, Chris (Angela) Baldwin; brother, Larry (Linda) Groves; and sister, Ruthie Groves Massey. Funeral service will be Friday, August 12, 2016, at 6pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2016, from 4pm to 8pm and on Friday from 4pm to 6pm.
