HARRIS, Jane Mae Walker, age 86, formerly of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in Sun City Center, Florida. Mrs. Harris was born in Cheatham County on April 10, 1929, to Edward Thomas Walker, Sr., and Sammie Mai Eastridge Walker. She attended Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ in Ashland City, Tennessee, and worked as a bank teller. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Leslie Williams, Sr; and brother, Jimmy Walker. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James "Jim" Harris; son, Melvin Leslie Williams, Jr., of Missouri; daughter, Sherrie Lynn Savage (Billy); brother, Edward T. Walker, Jr.; grandchildren, Leslie Williams III (Traci) and Landon Jackson Williams; and great grandson, Maxwell Trace Williams. A graveside service at Bethlehem Cemetery will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 11am with Alvin Mitchell officiating.
