Obituary

James Stephen Webb, age 65, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away at Vanderbilt Medical Center on Sunday, December 17, 2023. He was born on July 14, 1958, to the late Clifton M. Webb and Lena Belle (May) Webb. He was a member of Abundant Life Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. He worked as a New Home Sales Manager for Ole South Real Estate and was instrumental in developing neighborhoods for them. Steve also worked for over 20 years in the car business, where he met his wife, Teresa. He will always be remembered as a man of faith and an avid LSU fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Lena Belle Webb; brother, Gary Webb; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Ray Lynn. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Fizer Webb; son, Stephen Webb (Chloe); daughter, Amber McClellan (Chris); brother, Mike Webb; sister, Linda Lynn; uncle, Bill May (Carol); devoted niece and nephew, Lori Worster and Vinny Morgano; grandchildren, Logan McClellan, Lucas McClellan, Landon McClellan, and Dakota Webb; and beloved pet, Beaux. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Granger officiating. Visitation will be the same day from 12noon until the service hour of 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cheatham County Animal Control.
