James "Jimmy" Robert Lee, age 70, passed away at his home on July 5, 2018. Jimmy was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 31, 1948, to the late Robert R. Lee and Grace Buckner Lee. He was a lifelong member of the Clarksville Highway Church of Christ, a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era (Korea) and worked in metal building construction. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Teresa Braswell Lee; children, Janet R. Lee, Bobbie J. (Michael) Greene, and Jamie R. (Shannon) Lee; Siblings, Dick (Nancy) Walker, Janie (Felix) Tejeda, Gary (Teresa) Lee, Polly (Shaw) Fulton; and grandchildren, Jacob Berry, Kirkland Berry, Tanner Lee, Trevor Lee, Michaylah Greene, and Madyson Greene.
Funeral service for Jimmy will be Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2018, from 5pm to 7pm and on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 9am until service hour of 11am. Private burial will be in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.
