REED, James Lenell, age 55, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, at Tristar Centennial in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was born April 24, 1961, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Ewing Lenell Reed and Doris Dozier Reed. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Jim King Construction. He is preceded in death by his father, Ewing "Sonny" Lenell Reed. He is survived by his mother; Doris Nickens and his stepfather, Marion; wife, Patricia Reed; daughter, Erica Reed; brothers, Randall (Mary) Reed and Douglas Reed; sister, Jackie Harris (Wayne); nieces and nephews; Doug "Sonny" Reed, Jr., Jesica Reed, Justin Harris, Hannah Harris; and two grandchildren, Jaxson Moore and Ava Mae Lynn Reed. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dozier Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8th from 11am to 7pm and Thursday, June 9th from 9am to 11am.
