James C. Primm, age 83, went to his heavenly home on February 21, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 24, 1934, to the late Jerry and Louise Johnson Primm. He was a graduate of the Central High School of Ashland City, Class of 1952. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the end of the Korean War from 1954 to 1958. James received a Bachelor's Degree in accounting from Tennessee Tech in 1961 and worked as an auditor for the Federal Government until his retirement. He was a member of the Mt. Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, Tennessee, for over 40 years, where he served as an elder. He was a member of The Gideons International. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Louise Johnson Primm. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Hall Primm; sons, David (Karen) Alan Primm of Villa Rica, GA, and Nathan (Bete) James Primm of LaVergne, TN; daughters, Susan (Doug) Primm Glore of Austell, GA, and Carol (Glen) Primm Cox of Gainesville, GA; brother, John Primm; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 3pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Don Winn and Brother Justin Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Charlotte, Tennessee. The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 23, 2018, from 11am until 8pm and on Saturday from February 24th from 1pm to 3pm.
