HARRIS, James "Jim" L., age 88, passed away on February 18, 2016, at TriStar Centennial in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was born on April 25, 1927, in Ashland City, Tennessee, to Eura Harris Blanks. He formerly attended Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ in Ashland City; was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and Merchant Marines; and worked in aircraft maintenance for Techtron and Boeing. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Eura and Roy Blanks; wife of 35 years, Jane Mae Walker Williams Harris; and son, Ernie Reed (Elaine). He is survived by his sons, William "Bill" Harris and Rock Harris (Faye); daughters, Darlene (Harold) Taylor and Lois Satterthwaite (Allen); his stepdaughter, Lynn Savage (Billy); stepson, Les Williams; best friend, Marge Wolfer; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be Sunday, February 21, 2016, at 2pm in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, with Brother Cliett Goodpasture officiating.
