James Thomas Harrington, age 68, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. James was born on October 6, 1949, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Willie Evans Harrington and Helen Maetta Hunt Harrington. He formerly worked as a gasket maker for Nissan. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Eugene Harrington. He is survived by his brothers, Sammie (Loretta) Harrington and Willie Kenneth Harrington; sister, Diane Odle; as well as a host of other family members. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Coach and Harrington Cemetery in Hickman County, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, October 8th from 4pm to 7pm and on Tuesday from 9am until service hour of 11am. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
