BENNETT, SR. James Edward, age 73, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Newman Bennett; sons, James (Amelia) Bennett, Jr. and William Bennett; and grandchildren, Brandon and Matthew Bennett. Funeral service will be Monday at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Jeremy Overstreet and Brother Cecil Boswell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery with military honors. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, from 10am to 8pm; and Monday from 8am to 11am at the funeral home.
