James Christopher Baldwin “Chris” 57 of Dunedin, Florida departed this life on Sunday April 12th, 2026.
Chris was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 23rd, 1968 to Dr. James Marvin Baldwin and Emma (Janice) Baldwin. He grew up in Ashland City, Tennessee. He received his Nursing Degree at TSU in Tennessee. He married the love of his life, Angela (Lynch) Baldwin in March 1998 in Jamaica. They lived several years in Tennessee before they moved to Florida in 2003.
Chris enjoyed so many hobbies. He loved the water, boating, racing motorcycles, flying remote control helicopters and airplanes. He also found joy in Angela’s Boston Terrier puppies, whether it was raising them or rescuing them; His latest rescue “Minnie” would have died if he had not brought her home. Also, don’t forget he was always fixing something, and he was good at it. He had a miraculous way of fixing anything and occasionally would tell Angela, “There may be a few extra parts that don’t go back in?”
Chris worked for Morton Plant and really made an impression on most people. He was very social and outgoing, and there to lend a hand. He loved life and always wanted Angela to go do whatever he was doing, even ride motorcycles. She tried to keep up, but was just not as good as him at most hobbies.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents Doc and Janice Baldwin, aunts Betty Hastey and Ruth Massey. He is survived by his wife Angela "Angel" Lynch Baldwin of 28 years. His Aunt Pam Cates (husband Ricky) of Galatia, Illinois. Uncle Stan Hastey of West Palm Beach FL. Cousins Lisa Hastey (husband Dan Mahlbacher) of West Palm Beach FL and Stephen Hastey of West Palm Beach.. In law's Kenneth and Donna Lynch of Russellville Ark. Brother and sister in law Kenny and Nancy Lynch, niece Kenya, nephew Connor of Pottsville Ark.
Cremation services will be handled by Curlew Hills and a Memorial Service will follow on May 30th at 6 pm.
In lieu of Flowers and Plants the Family is asking for Donations to be made to the following charities in which Chris and Angel have supported throughout the years. For convenience, direct links to the charities can be found further below.
