JACK HUSTON PERNELL, age 69, passed away at his home on November 1, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born November 3, 1947, in Dickson County, Tennessee, to the late Herman Pernell and Louise Spann Pernell. Jack was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a retired painter, working for Vanderbilt University. Jack is preceded in death by his brother, Joe Alton Pernell. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Williams Pernell; son, Jason (Angela) Pernell; daughters, Jennifer (Steven) Mills and Amanda Williams; and 6 grandchildren, Drew Pernell, Laken Pernell, Steven Mills, III, Jack Mills, Rebecca Williams, and Grayson Williams.
