BREWER, Irma Marie, age 98, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Brewer was formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan, before relocating to Ashland City, Tennessee, to be near her family. She was born in Ohio, Illinois, on December 15, 1917, to Daniel Baumgartner and Florence Bubeck Baumgartner. She worked as a housewife and mother to her three children. Irma is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Florence Baumgartner; husband, Donald "Don" Brewer; brothers, Howard and Bob Baumgartner; and sister, Marjorie Baumgartner. She is survived by her three children, Don and his wife, Jean Brewer; Barbara and her husband, Wendell Wood and Nancy and her husband, Jim Vaden; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home in Battle Creek, Michigan, from 9am until 12noon.
