DELAUGHTER, Hollis Rudolph "Rudy", Jr., age 53, passed away on April 2, 2016, at his home. Rudy was born in Arizona on December 25, 1962, to Hollis R. DeLaughter, Sr, and Betty Taylor Summit. Rudy was a skilled carpenter. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Ronnie DeLaughter. He is survived by his mother, Betty Taylor (Bill) Summit; daughter, Jenna DeLaughter; fiancé, Bridget Mabry; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth DeLaughter; brothers, Roy DeLaughter, Danny (Sarah) DeLaughter, and Terry (Louise) DeLaughter; grandchildren, Kenzi and Mady; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mike Jenkins, David Pardue, Michael Jackson, David Johnson, and Daniel and Kristy Barnes. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Drake Jenkins officiating.
