Helen Louise Holland, age 87, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at Hillcrest HealthCare Center in Ashland City, Tennessee, on Sunday morning, February 19, 2023. She was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on April 8, 1935, to the late James McGinnis Deweese and Marie (Miller) Deweese. She was a retired cook for Krystal Hamburgers. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merrill Cothran Holland; son, Rick Holland; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Merrill C. Holland (Vickie) and Michael Keith Holland; daughters, Debra Lloyd and Judy Tubbs; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; and daughter-in-law, Donna Holland. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Vickie Holland sharing the eulogy. Burial will follow in Krantz Cemetery in Joelton, Tennessee. Visitation will be before the service from 10am until service hour of 12noon.
