Helen "Ruth" Crabtree, age 93, passed away at her home on Saturday evening, August 6, 2022. Ruth was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, to the late Clyde Russell Boyd and Beulah (Morris) Boyd. She was a Christian who loved Alan Jackson and a homemaker to her family. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Johnnie D. Biggs and Robert J. Crabtree, Sr.; sons, Johnny Ray Biggs, James Russell Biggs, Michael D. Biggs; brothers, C.L. Boyd and Alma Boyd; sisters, Faye Davis and Lucy Biggs; and grandson, David Crabtree. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Faye Mackey (Steve); sons, Charles Richard Biggs (Linda) and Stephen Anthony Crabtree (Beverly); stepchildren, Bobby Crabtree, Judy Klimczak, Margie Crockett, Richard Crabtree (Sandy), and Selene Seals; sisters, Dot Newman and Jeannie Stanley; brothers, Fred Boyd (Marie), Marvis Boyd (Peggy), and Kenneth Boyd (Iva Lou); grandchildren, Stefanie Mays (Russell), Michael Segarra (Amanda), Jimmy Biggs, Patrick Biggs, and Casey Crabtree; great-grandchildren, Adalyn Segarra, Rosalie Mays, Simon Segarra, and Amelia Segarra. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 5pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home LLC, with Tyler Binkley officiating.
