Helen Jean (Hudak) Buttrey, age 66, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. She was born in Elyria, Ohio, on July 29, 1957, to the late Howard Hudak and Jean (Wine) Hudak. She owned her own cleaning service and also worked for Opry Land Hotel and Lowes Vanderbilt Hotel. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Jean Hudak; and sister, Debbie Hudak. She is survived by the father of her children, Bobby Dean Buttrey; daughters, Lena Hudson and Jeanna Hall (Joey); brothers, Mark Hudak, John Hudak, Bryant Hudak (Jean Keith), and Randy Hudak; grandchildren, Jaylee Hall, Nathaniel Deason, Danielle Hall, Brittany Hall, Mylea Hall, Cheyenne Hall, Michael Hudson, Cecilia Hudson, and Learica Johnson; great grandchildren, Dvante Johnson, Omari Johnson, Josiah Shaw, Adonis Johnson, Ari Johnson, Maleah Rigney, Brayla Rigney, Kinsley Martin, and Avery Martin; and best friends, Debbie Steele and Jan Schim. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 2, 2023, at 6pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation will be the same day from 4pm until the hour of service at 6pm.
