WAYMAN, Hazel Louise, age 84, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus McLaughlin and Annie Reed McLaughlin; her husband, Kenneth Zane Wayman, Sr.; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Zane Wayman, Jr. (Linda); daughter, Hilda Wayman; 3 grandchildren, Tim, Julie and Nikki; and 4 great-grandchildren. Hazel was raised in the Petway Community in Cheatham County and worked as a cook for the Klondike and Tucker's Grocery in Ashland City, TN. Funeral service will be Sunday, April 13th at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Pete Krantz officiating. Burial will follow in the Petway Community in McLaughlin Cemetery. Her grandson and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, April 12th, from 4pm to 7pm and on Sunday, April 13th from 12noon until service hour of 2pm.
