Harry Lee Powell, age 84, passed away at his home on May 20, 2020. Harry was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, on July 9, 1935, to the late Lemon Leroy Powell and Agnes Elliott Powell. He served his country in the United States Army. Harry was an Industrial Engineer for Electrolux until retirement. Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Orville Powell, and infant sister, Joy Powell. Survivors are his wife of over 60 years Joan Newlyn Powell; sons, Mark Powell (Hannelore) and Keith Powell (Larea); brother, David 'Pete' Powell (Patti); sisters, Karen Farabee (Wayne) and Melody Powell; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 4pm in the Chapel with Bruce Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday May 26th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mr. Powell will be laid to rest in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday May 27th.
