Obituary

KNOX, Harris Courtney, age 72, passed away on February 16, 2015, at Christian Care Center of Cheatham County in Ashland City, TN. He was born October 7, 1942, in Thomasville, TN, to James Leonard Knox and Mattie Blancette Knox. He was a lifelong member of Mallory's Methodist Church in the Thomasville Community, a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as an airline pilot for many companies including Capital Airways. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leonard and Mattie Knox. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Kelley Knox; three sons, Mike (Rebecca) Knox, Steve Knox, and Chris Knox; three brothers, Travis Knox, Ricky (Kathy) Knox, and Gene Knox; three grandchildren, Stephen, Nicholas and Storm Knox; and 2 great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Ainsley Knox. Mr. Knox chose cremation and a memorial service honoring his life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 11am in Mallory's United Methodist Church.
