Obituary

Harold "Hal" Lee Musler II, age 56, passed away Monday, August 24th, 2020, at his home in Charlotte, Tennesse. He was born in Florence, South Carolina on August 23, 1964, to the late Harold Lee Musler and Susette Fellows Musler. He served for 8 years in the Army National Guard as a Military Policeman and was a devoted patriot. Hal studied at Penn State University, receiving a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He then continued his education at Alvernia University, receiving a degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Hal was a very successful businessman working most recently as the Chief Operating Officer for Diamond Crystal Brands in Savannah, Georgia. He had a passion for automobile restoration and racing pro late model cars. Hal was a devoted member of Ashland City Church of Christ. He will be remembered as an intelligent, courteous, polite gentleman to all who knew him. Hal is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Hal was a wonderful loving husband to Donna Kubilus Musler, his wife of 32 years, who survives him, as well as a sister Cynthia Schoffstall and her husband Darrell. Hal also looked up to Wayne Haas, who was like a father to him, along with his wife Kathleen. Jeff Boesch, who was like a brother to Hal, and wife Loretta and their son Jeffrey. Later in life Hal met Ben Pugh, who was like a son to him, along with his wife Stephanie and their children Carter and Mason. Nieces and nephews: Laura Gibson and her husband Cory - their child Elizabeth. Amanda Santos and her husband Will - their children Amelia and Katherine. Lauren Scheibelhut and her husband Jeremy - their child Hailey. Brad Bettinger, Ryan Bettinger and his wife Jayme. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020, at 1 PM in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Drake Jenkins officiating. Visitation before the service will be on Monday, September 14th from 11 AM until 1 PM.
