H. "Christine" Ford Story, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at her home in Ashland City, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family. Christine was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 27, 1931, to the late James Benjamin Ford and Myrtle Irene McCormick Ford. . She was a member of Chapel Hill Church of Christ retired from the Cheatham County School System as a cook and worked did factory work at Acme Boot over 10 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 73 years, Paul D. Story; brothers, J.B. and Charles Ford; sister, Mazie Harper; and grandson, Paul Wayne "Little Paul" Story, Jr. She is survived by her children, Pete and Sharon Story, David and Gail Story, Jimmy "Cotton" and Annette Story, Charles "Speck" and Helga Story, Becky and Zeke Dawson and Donna and Robert Hutchison; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Lee Corlew and Michael Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2020, from 1pm to 8pm and on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 12noon until service hour of 2pm.
