Gloria Ann (Taylor) Biggs, age 75, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on March 2, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late William Robert Taylor, Sr., and Elsie Gladys (Waters) Taylor. Gloria worked for 2 years at State Industries and at Cheatham County Nursing Home as a housekeeper and kitchen supervisor. Her favorite job, however, was raising children. She loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Elsie Taylor; beloved husband of 54 years, Joe Biggs; brothers, Jerry Wayne Taylor, William "Bit" Robert Taylor, Jr., Walter Taylor, Donald Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, and Ricky Taylor; sisters, Sherry Biggs, Betty Jean Taylor, and Melba Jean Taylor; granddaughter, Kayla Dawn Biggs; and great granddaughter, Fanci Burns-Pickard. Gloria is survived by her sons, Joe C. Biggs, Wayne Biggs, and James Thomason (Ashley); daughter, Kaye Pickard (Shanon); bonus daughter, Amy Perry (Micky); sister, Linda Pinkerton (Howard); brothers-in-law, Glenn Biggs, Roy Biggs, Fred Biggs (Pat), and B.F. Biggs (Effie); grandchildren, Matthew Pickard (Faedra), Zachary Pickard (Karleigh), Thomas Pickard, James Overby, Jason Thomason, Amanda Thomason, Arianna Thomason, and Stormie Brown; and great granddaughter, Femi Pickard. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Minister Jackson Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, August 18, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm and Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 9am until the service hour of 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice or Sycamore Chapel Cemetery Fund.
