Glenn D. Biggs, 75, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on December 6, 1950, in Nashville, he was the son of the late Joe C. Biggs and Serena Elizabeth (Travis) Biggs. Glenn was Constable for the 2nd District of Cheatham County for many years and volunteer fireman for the Cheatham County Rescue Squad, holding the title of Assistant Unit Director, previously worked at Roger’s Manufacturing for over 30 years and retired as a road maintenance worker number 2 for the State of Tennessee. He loved to fish and watch westerns. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and favorite uncle to his many nieces and nephews, who will be deeply missed.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Joe and Serena Biggs; wife of 55 years, Sherry (Taylor) Biggs; brothers, B.F. Biggs, Richard Biggs, Roy D. Biggs, Joe W. Biggs and John Henry Biggs; and sisters, Sue Dunn, Nancy Sanders, Shirley Louallen, Audrey Comperry, and Baby “Sissy” Biggs; and grandson, Harley Tisdale. He is survived by his daughters, Theresa Tisdale (John) and Kathy Clements (Danny); grandchildren: Daniel Clements (Lindsey), Kenneth Crowson (Crystal), Kayla Clements (James), Kimberly Riddell (Eric), and Brandon Tisdale; great grandchildren, Scott Crowson (Briana), Sierra Riddell, Myah Clements, Jaxson Clements, Carlie Jones, Chloe/Zoey Johnson, and Haislee Tisdale; great-great-grandchildren, Elijah “Maverick” Crowson, Theodora Crowson and Raven Crowson; and brother, Fred C. Biggs (Pat); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Derek Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10th from 3pm to 7pm and on Friday before the service from 11am until service hour of 1pm. Pallbearers will be Jody Biggs, Doug Demidio, D.J.
