JACKSON, Glenda Elizabeth, age 53, passed away at St. Thomas MidTown on Saturday, December 19, 2015. She was born in Colorado on August 1, 1962, to William Odell Hollis, Sr., and Joyce Williams Hollis. She attended with her mother Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and worked as a spot welder for A.O. Smith in Ashland City, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her father, William O. Hollis, Sr.; husband, James Jackson, and brother, Daniel Hollis. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Hollis; sons, Daniel Wayne Jackson and Brian Keith Jackson; brother, William Hollis (Ginger); sister, Felecia Stephens (George); 15 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at 2:30pm in the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Walsh officiating. Burial will follow in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 21, 2015, from 4pm to 7pm and on Tuesday before the service from 10am until service hour of 2:30pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, c/o Cheatham County Funeral Home. Cheatham County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
