NEWMAN, Gladys Marie, age 90, passed away January 18, 2013, at her
home. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Della
Darrow Binkley; her husband, Herman Ray Newman; and her son, Gary
Newman. She is survived by her son, Roger Newman; daughters, Linda
(Dwain) Myers, Patsy (Jimmy) Andrews, Vickie (Gerald) Rose, Jackie
(Jeff) Myers, and Charlotte Napier; sister-in-law, Imogene Binkley; 17
grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and many lifelong friends.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 2pm
in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Cecil
Boswell, Brother Cliett Goodpasture and Brother Andy Brown
officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 1pm to
8pm and Wednesday from 10am to funeral hour of 2pm. Burial will
follow in Ever Rest Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, TN. Serving as
pallbearers will be Jason Gibson, Bruce Myers, Len Andrews, Thomas
Stuart, Jonathan Coulon, and Leon Newman. Honorary pallbearers are
her granddaughters, Ashley, Crystal, Dianne, Iris, Tabitha, Samantha,
Emily, Dawn, Wendy, Jennifer, and Amanda and special friend, Cathy
