Gilbert Sheldon Bullington, son of Paul O. and Rosa (McBroom) Bullington was born on August 17, 1931 in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He spent his entire career at Ford Glass Plant in Nashville, Tennessee. His favorite hobby was farming and gardening.
Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Rosa Bullington, his sisters, Anne Tuck Wilson and Audrey Bullington Batson, and son, Kenneth Ross Bullington.
Gilbert was survived by his daughter, Paula Bullington and husband Jeff Fowler of Bixby, Oklahoma, his grandson, Paul Martin Bullington, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and cousins. He is also survived by his companion of many years, Janine Foutch, and devoted friends, Eugene and Carolyn Crouch. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at 2pm at Lillamay Church of Christ, River Road, Ashland City, TN.
