Geraldine "Jerri" Moore, 82, of Ashland City, departed this life on July 24, 2025, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was born May 12, 1943, in Nashville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Moore; parents, Benedict and Bessie Harrington; sisters, Teresa Faye Butler and Mary Ann Reese; and brother, Larry Harrington. She leaves behind her loving sons, Chuck Moore and Jerry Welck (Mary Smith); daughters, Tammy Smith (Kyle), Sandy Cherry (Chris), Donna Miller (Bryan); daughters of the heart, Jennifer Smith (Roger), and Mandy White (Darrell); grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Samantha), Brett Smith, Logan Biggs (Karen), Laken King (Brandon Ruiz), Jacob Miller (Devon), Kelsy Duffel (Will), Tisha Welck (Coty Brown), David Campbell, Stephanie Agee, Jeremy Welck (Felicity Doyle), Matt Farless (Amy), and Gabrielle Smith; great-grandchild, Kaydence, Everleigh, Braxton, Weston, Pearl, Abigail, Brandon, Gunner, Aubrey, Autumn, Adalynn, Peyton, Colton, Elizabeth, Brooklyn, and Ryan. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 5pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Derek Wright officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 12pm till service time at 5pm. Burial will be Monday, July 28, 2025, at 10am at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Red Hat Society, Cheatham County Lions Club, and the Sr. Center Advisory Board.
