GERALD WAYNE WATTS, age 69, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee. Gerald was born on June 5, 1948, in Pleasant View, Tennessee, to the late Earnest Watts and Ruth Romans Watts. He worked was a retired farmer. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and great-nephew, Azrael Tipton. He is survived by his brother, Bobby (Janie) Watts; sister, Betty (Billy) Smith; and nieces and nephews: Shirley Jackson, Johnny Smith, Melissa (J.W.) Jones, Barbara (David) Farmer, Avle Perry, Billy Joe Smith, Rachel (Mark) Martin and Robert Watts. A visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 2pm to 4pm First Baptist Church of Joelton with a Celebration of Life to follow at 4pm with Brother David Royalty officiating.
