GEORGIA RUTH PULLEY, age 80, passed away at her home on December 24, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Georgia was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 22, 1937, to the late Ernest and Mattie Lawless Holliman. She was a member of Joelton First Baptist Church and retired as a teacher's aide for Ashland City Elementary School after over 47 years. Georgia will be remembered for her sweet smile and bubbly personality. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mattie Lawless Holliman; husband, Lawrence Pulley; son, Nickey Pulley; sisters, Katherine Mobley and Louise Gilbert and daughter-in-law, Leanne Pulley. She is survived by her sons: Rickie (Jan) Pulley, Garrell (Julie) Pulley, Darrell (Peggy) Pulley; daughter, Kathy (Gary) Clouse; daughter-in-law, Tammy Pulley; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, December 29, 2017, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Community Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 28th from 12noon until 7pm and on Friday before the service from 10am until service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell, Rickie and Garrell Pulley, Gary Clouse and Drew and Derrick Pulley. Honorary pallbearer is Jesse Shadowens.
