SHEARON, Georgia "Jo" Mae, age 72, passed away on July 17, 2014, at her home. She was born to Toney Carroll and Lillie Mae Cantrell Carroll on March 5, 1942. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Judy Carroll. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Larry "Ike" Shearon; son, Terry (Becky) Nicholson; daughters, Sherry Nicholson and Kristie Shearon (Bobby); brother, Toney Carroll, Jr.; sisters, Alice Waffird (Dale) and Barbara Martin (Sonny); 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Monday at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Cliett Goodpasture officiating. Burial will follow in Ever Rest Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, TN. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, July 20th from 6pm to 8pm and on Monday from 9am until service hour of 2pm.
