George Womack, age 73, passed away at the Residence at Alive Hospice on December 26, 2021. He was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on December 31,1947 to the late George Jr. and Mildred Irene (Payne) Womack. George was United States Marine Veteran. He worked and retired from Vanderbilt the Nashville V.A. Hospital as a registered nurse. George is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Autumn Preciado and Sam Womack (Morgan); daughter, Sara Womack Adams (Jacob); sister, Lois Drew (Larry), and grandchildren, Karsyn and Dorothy Jo Womack. A graveside service at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee will be Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 9am. Visitation for George will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 2pm until 7pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Sam Womack, Jacob Adams, Jake Sirmeyer, and Jeremy Marlow.
