He was a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Osborne. He is survived by his parents, Pearl Greubel and John E. Osborne, sons, Ben L. Osborne and John (Jamie) Osborne; brother, Larry Osborne; sisters, Jacqueline Schmitt, Carol Bridges, and Camille Catiller; granddaughters, Kaylee, Hailey and Bailey Osborne. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral home. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 1pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 10am until funeral hour of 2pm. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
