Gary Vernon Duke, age 67, passed away on November 7, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee at Centennial Medical Center. Gary was born in Nashville, Tennessee and lived in Ashland City with his family for 40 years. He was a retired district manager for the Tennessean of Ashland City. His retired days were spending time with his wife, daughter, grandsons, and great grandchildren, telling stories on the front porch, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Gary is preceded in death by his son, Gary Jason Duke; parents, Hollis and Margaret Duke; sisters, Shirley Watson and Janice Duke; and his precious "baby girls," Nikki Sue, Charlotte, and Puppy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Duke; daughter, Angela Stewart (Tony); grandsons, Joshua Carey, Matthew Carey, and Adam Carey; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, JJ, and Mackenzie Carey; sisters, Elaine Sutterfield and Barbara Pardue; many nieces and nephews; and his "baby girls" Molly and Minnie. Funeral service will be Friday, November 12, 2021, at 1pm in the chapel with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11th from 1pm to 7pm and on Friday from 11am until the service hour of 1pm.
