LOFTIS, Garland R., age 63, passed away on October 16, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Demmon Loftis and his brother, Pete Hampton. He is survived by his mother, Pearl Hampton Boner; wife, Linda Jo Emmertt Loftis; companion, Betty Jo Harrison; son, Dewayne "Holly" Loftis; daughter, Sherry "Walter" Kirby; 4 brothers, 3 sisters, stepdaughter, Jana "Basil" Buckels; and 2 grandchildren, Justin and Destiny Loftis. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 18, 2012, at 12:30pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Mark Felts officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 2pm to 8pm and on Thursday from 9am until funeral hour of 12:30pm.
