Obituary

Freddie Martin Brown, age 74, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, Tennessee. Freddie was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 28, 1947, to the late Charles Martin Brown and Dorothy Lee Fortner Brown. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant for the Air National Guard. Freddie is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Lewis) Brown; son, Adam (Alicia) Brown; daughters, Rachel (Clay) Johns, Heather (Matthew) Mangold; brothers, Kenneth (Phyllis), Jay, Glen, Paul; sisters, Ann, Faye (Jack), Sharon, Gracie (Steve), Rita (Rusty), Virginia, Judy (Lloyd), and Carolyn; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 12th, 2022, at 2pm in the chapel with James Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Community Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will also be Saturday, February 12th from 11am until the hour of service. Serving as active pallbearers will be Adam Brown, Matt Mangold, Clay Johns, Mitchell Brown, Ethan Johns, and Jacob Johns. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Caden Johns.
