Freda Joann Proctor, age 89, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She was born in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, on August 16, 1934, to the late Ernie Corbin and Ruby Maria (Wall) Suggs. Joann worked in banking. She was a member of Bearwallow Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Joe Proctor; brother, Billy Ray Suggs; and sister, Shirley Cusimano. She is survived by her sons, Michael Proctor (Amber) and Steven Proctor (Vickie); grandchildren, Matthew Proctor (Morgan), Micah Proctor (Brittany), and Chris Jones (Melissa); and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jackson, Andrew, Cooper, Audrey, Greyson, and Tate. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 3pm in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens in Burns, Tennessee.
